Korea's Factory Robots in Numbers
No country uses more industrial robots for its size than South Korea. Here is its robot density in numbers.
South Korea had the world's highest robot density in manufacturing in 2024, according to the International Federation of Robotics (IFR).
The global average was 132 industrial robots per 10,000 manufacturing employees in 2024.
Singapore was second with 818 robots per 10,000 employees, Germany third with 449 and Japan fourth with 446.
The IFR links South Korea's lead to its two biggest robot buyers: the electronics industry and the car industry.
